Christmas Angel Tree

Each year during the Nativity season, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church community comes together in love and service through our Angel Tree Ministry. This outreach effort brings the joy of Christmas to children and families in need by providing gifts, clothing, and essential items that they might not otherwise receive.

Beginning in late November, our Angel Tree is placed in the Narthex, filled with tags that list specific gift requests. Parishioners are invited to select a tag, prayerfully shop for the items, and return the gifts to the church.

The Angel Tree Ministry is a beautiful expression of our calling to care for “the least of these” and to share Christ’s compassion during a season that can be difficult for many. Whether you choose to take an angel tag or make a donation, your generosity makes a profound difference.

Please stop by our Christmas Angel Tree and choose an angel in need. As in years past, we are supporting the families at the Whole Life Shelter. This year, we are also extending our care to those served by the pan-Orthodox ministry, FOCUS North America. Wrapped gifts are due back by December 7th. No time to shop? We can do it for you—donations and gift cards are greatly appreciated.
